I'm sure some of you have noticed (aunt Sandy) that I have been MIA from the blog world. I was taking an English 102 course. I took it through a summer session, which means I needed to complete all the assignments normally given in a full semester in a month (didn't quite realize what I was getting into). It was pretty consuming and stressful, but I did it. I am now one more class closer to a business finance degree!!!! Anyways, my final research paper for the class took up a lot of my time. The paper was considered our final exam and was worth a lot of points. I wanted to make sure that I did a good job on it. I told Cole last weekend that I needed to work on my paper and he would need to entertain himself and try not to interrupt me. I promised him if he did this I would take him to do whatever he wanted the following weekend. He was wonderful, he left me alone to complete my research paper. So yesterday (by his choice), we went to the Rainforest Cafe and to see the movie, Spacechimps. It was his first time at the Rainforest Cafe. He thought it was the coolest place ever. The animals move and make noises. It is a good replica of the Rainforest. He bought a stuffed snake and a tiger pen as souvenirs. Then we went to see Spacechimps, the previews looked hilarious. But it was one of those movies that shows the only funny parts of it in the previews. It was entertaining, but not a must see. We gave it two sideways thumbs. Hope the family is all doing well, I'm going to check out the blogs and leave comments this week.Sunday, August 10, 2008
Welcome to the Jungle

Here we are!!!!(I asked the waitress to take a picture of us and she said okay and snapped it really quick, didn't give us much time to poise. I guess she was kinda busy waiting on tables or something)
Looks like Tarzan trying to climb up that vine to hang out with the gorillas(except Cole wears more than a loin cloth, that would just be indecent)
This reminded me of the snake in "The Jungle Book", that tried to hypnotize everyone with his crazy eyes
